Excerpts from Morgan Stanley's preview on today's analyst meeting with DELL:
-DELL's internal research suggests that the mix of positive/negative demand factors related to Y2K will cancel each other and have little overall impact on PC growth;
-DELL believes that the small and consumer business together could account for 50% of worldwide PC shipments
-China, although small, continues to grow rapidly. Sales in Japan continue to be mixed. Europe is looking healthy.
