On the idea of water storage. I had done a little research on purchasing collapsable water storage containers and came to the conclusions that it just didn't make sense.

I can purchase a six gallon bottle of spring water from my local spring water company for about six bucks (there is a $5 dollar deposit per bottle but it is refundable once you return the empty bottle).

Anyway, as I have a well, and a generator for the pump, I'm planning on having an additional 10 bottles (stored in my shed) just in case. My feeling with all this planning is that it is better to be safe than sorry, and if we're all wrong, great. There is nothing that I will have that I won't be able to use anyway.
