making an individual chip run faster is one thing, offering the ability for a ISP to run a single image of Solaris on 1000 processors is another thing entirely. ISP's and company's that host applications are the wave of the future and dont get too excited about 2 node or 4 node clustering with intel and bringing down their systems to install the latest windows patch or managing so many images of the OS (OK they may be running Linux). I think these are two separate markets and Sun is way ahead with Intel playing catch up.
