No arguments from me

I just wonder if the large number of ex-Intel and current Intel employees who post on this thread are capable of learning anything from this mornings stock performance.

INTC currently down 2% and AMD down 8% on bad news from AMD.

What is bad for AMD is not good for INTC.

============

Now I will wait for DELL to talk about how well they are going to do with those >$1500 boxes that they sell with exclusively INTC CPU's. If they say enough good things then maybe we can recover some of this mornings loss.

Paul,
So they still perceive AMD and INTC as being in the same business

1. Intel cuts prices every three weeks to hurt AMD.
2. AMD gets hurt.

Who else gets hurt?

Scumbria

I hope that wasn't a rhetorical question ... because I would like to give it a whirl.

The consumer?

Scumbria, anyone in the CPU business who cannot keep up with Intel gets hurt like Cyrix, IDT, Rise, IBM, Motorola ...
