<Of course, such view has eroded progressively since about the sixties....

Coincidentally, I guess it was at this time that Marihuana, (please note that there is no Juana in the name of the plant), became more... er, popular...>

Juan,

The tone and tendency of liberalism...is to attack the institutions of the country under the name of reform and to make war on the manners and customs of the people under the pretext of progress."

Benjamin Disraeli,1872

Afterwards

The introduction of drugs to make people look the other way.

Example:

Marihuana-Sex-Monica

to get by hook = $500 billion or even much more to Russia-gone for good

or by crook = Expansion of NATO-Partnership for Peace-Kosovo-??????

the possession of thousands of nuclear warheads in Russia.

We are all (you and me included) hostages in present world peace risking phase. The result of a terrible flawed foreign policy of the Clinton Administration. I am afraid but that is my humble opinion.

Only people who are on mind boggling medication (drugs)shall be excused for not being able of seeing the final curtain falling if the bombing continues and ground troops are introduced in the KOSOVO.

Is it not possible to pause and think it all over?

So please explain to me why anyone should be in such a great rush to make dollars. Where and on what could you spend this money when my opinionated and very possible events should become realities?

Boris Yeltsin has bought his elections with part of the 1,6 billion dollar check he got from President Clinton on Vancouver. But he is on his way out and every one knows that. But the people did not forget his rock and rolling which brought too many into deeper poverty as they experienced under Stalin.

Those leaders are committed to the man in Belgrade by blood and tradition. They will not hesitate to use nuclear weapons when their time comes or being cornered into a all or nothing situation.

Every falling bomb is helping those leaders to say to the masses on election day " I told you so about NATO ".

The real result of The Clinton Administration foreign policy since it took over from President Bush is questionable on two fronts as far as Russia is concerned.

The money is gone without any worthwhile benefits for the Russian people and it seems to me as a complete idiot that SALTII will not be ratified in the DUMA for foreseeable future while the wisdom of fixing what was not broke namely NATO will be questioned with energy by many allies.

Any computer programmed in DOS could have done a better job in my humble opinion.

<I do not believe in fantasies .......>

I wished it all would only be a fantasie because I am on Drugs. But I am not on Drugs.

ED

PS. Anyone interested in poltical/military contract law under the aspect of "Realpolitik" should read the "Partnership for Peace" documents and then come back on this thread and tell us all his or her opinion. Russians may be broke but stupid they are not.
