Scumbria, Re: John Elway was perceived by the experts to be a loser for about a dozen years

Are you going to hold your AMD long for a dozen years or may be
5 years ?

Excellent point, but John Elway is not running AMD as far as I can tell; hopefully, Atiq Raza is enjoying increasing responsibility in this area.

Scumbria, John Elway was perceived by the experts to be a loser for about a dozen years.
Then he won the super bowl and suddenly became a great quarterback.

Did he change?

No, Terrell Davis, Ed McAffree, and a great offensive line came to the party to join Elway, and round out Denver into an excellent team. Who's joining AMD to round them into a great team? Just the opposite, they're laying off 25 year computer experts. You need any such resumes where you work?

Sure Scumbria, but what about all the other 1000s of losers who stayed losers?
