Buying is coming in now. I believe that the stock will go up from here. Ask has moved back up to 19-3/8. It is usually the case that there's no announcement till a deal is struck. If there are tentative offers we probably won't hear about them unless they're accepted. So a company could be offering VLSI 23 and we just won't know unless it's at the point now that Phillips has been given a chance to make a counter offer, for example. I don't think it means there's no wheeling and dealing just because we have no announcement of any offers. Linda
