Under this agreement, GI is to develop, trial and deliver customer premises equipment on a non-exclusive basis as part of a HFC IP telephony access system that will provide AT&T another way of offering data, voice and video services over its HFC network. The AT&T broadband network will initially employ circuit switched technology, utilizing advanced networking and Voice-over-IP (VoIP) technologies in the future.
