Some rabbis question their Judaism because they adhere to a primitive form of the faith, rather than being Talmudic Jews, not because they are black. It may be that there is discrimination against Arabs, but they are citizens, and have the right to vote. The Knesset depends upon coalitions, just as does any parliament, and the haredim have an unusual degree of power because of it. There has been discussion about changing the electoral system, to dilute the influence of some of these smaller parties. In any event, I think that the Israelis can be permitted a certain degree of indulgence, since Israel came to be in the wake of the greatest tragedy to befall world Jewry. The whole idea was that most people's have a homeland to flee to, and to speak for them in world councils, why not the Jews? The Holocaust seemed to confirm the fundamental wisdom of the founders of Zionism...

" Why not force them to welcome the 2+ million Palestinians who were forcibly driven from their homes and now live in squalid refugees camps. Israel should be force to either return these Palestinians to their homes or pay for the propeties that was stolen from them. Since Israel is a welfare state receiving approximately $5,000,000,000 in annual welfare checks, this would probably mean that US taxpayers would be forced to pay taxes to cover these Zionist crimes against Palestinians. I also agree that Israel should not be errased from the Middle East map, but they should at least be forced to behave like a civilized nation since we have to pay their welfare payments ever month. This welfare payment amounts to approximately $5000 for every Jewish family of four. This does not count the tens of billion of military hardware that was gifted to Israel in the last 50 years.
