I dont think sids disease is contageous here. People remain optomistic and this thread of a handfull of people dont necessarily get out to the masses.

Alan: You raise an interesting question - who are DCHT's competitors? I asked this question of Steve, back when he was Dr. Harvey and I was long the stock, and he said he didn't know. Several times I have suggested that his endlessly reposted "research report" on DCHT include a section on competition and why he thought DCHT would gain market share, but he hasn't done that yet. I have seen others (on the Ballard Yahoo thread, if I remember correctly) say that there are companies in Taiwan that make inexpensive hydrogen sensors, but I haven't seen any names.

Nobody in the fuel cell business could possibly consider DCHT a competitor, since as today's announcement shows, DCHT appears to have little that a chemistry teacher with a few bucks and some time on his hands couldn't put together. Moreover, my understanding is that DCHT hopes to sell its sensors to the Ballards of the world, for inclusion in their systems.

If you can find out who would consider themselves a competitor, please let me know. I'll check and see if any of them are afraid of competing with a company that lost about $4,000,000 last year on sales of about $200,000.
