Susan, I bought MINE at 49 on its 3/24 IPO day and sold 2/3 of it at (almost a) 909 just about a week later. It's down to the early 70's now, holding steady. It's performing like UBID in many ways; I did real well on that IPO (got that one at 16 as IPO issue) as I expect to do with MINE, like 909s squared and multiplied, like GNET. Didn't sell all the MINE at the high because it's not one to turn my back on away from the spyglass and the radar. Still going down presently, and probably will hit a bit lower before it takes hold for a steady rise, like the IPOs usually do when they're good like this one is miningco.com When it starts to rise again will buy more shares again, because that thing is bound to fly. There's acquisition talk around it, too. Watch around the 30 days after the IPO issue date, because many folks but not all getting the IPO's must hold it for that long before they sell (I didn't have to hold UBID). MINE might be good for another pop between today and then; if so back on board I hop, and then back off.....because either way it goes watch for the selloff around the 30 day expiration, when its a tripler for those who got in at 16 and had to sit through the month getting itchy watching it at even higher (as Kato said, "Wouldn't You?").
You've got some great picks there, Susan...MINE, IVIL and MLTX. Wish I could afford to buy 'em all! But bought more GNET last week, and not selling any of that just now! That Russell is a Right on the 360 -style CEO and wish there were more like him. For my stocks anyway ;o)
909,
Joan
ps This is terrible, almost ha'past 12 and I'm still indoors, daughter still sleeping, hello I must be going....

Susan, Russell did a fine job today. I think Ted David may buy some GNET. I was going to do a really funny post giving Barton a hard time but I can't find the post from about two week ago when all the pros were calling for a correction and Barton said he was "Befuddled".
Anyway, once I started looking at past post it was like looking at a year book. I reviewed some post that some may find interesting:
Post #77 & 78 The birth of "909" (look at the time).
Post #79 Moon ask a question.
Post #126,#142,#194,#218 "Making A Million in Internets"
Post #314 "BLUE'S Ten Internets to Watch for 1999"
Post #508 "The Strange Art of Making 909s While Trying to Lose Money" (The SPYG no-brainer).
