Michael, I had earlier requested you to present your own measurement of risk, if you disagree with the measures forwarded by academics. Your silence has been deafening! I know, I know ... your investment methodology carries no risk whatsoever ... ;-) Perhaps you feel that underperforming the index heavily w/ honour is better than matching the index w/o honour. I put less of a premium on honour, I like cash instead. :-) The 80%+ number is quoted from thestreet.com. If you are positive that it is a fake, don't just wave your hand - prove it with data and we will talk. And don't just accuse me of doing no original research, I do not believe in re-inventing the wheel. I don't build my own PC either. May be you do, and if that's the case, let's see your research regading performance of mutual funds, not just your hand waving. As for the comparison index, we have gone over this before, but either you didn't get it or you were not paying attention. <sigh> You cannot compare apples and oranges, Michael. -BGR.
