I was watching FLC yesterday, and tempted to sell. Then I pulled out the sheet I generate after researching a stock. The sheet lists my reasons for buying or selling. After reading it I concluded I should be buying more rather than selling.

I have to generate those sheets. I tend to get emotional and need them to bring me to my senses when I am about to make a bad trade.

Bull - << Oil just touched $6 a barrel on OPEC non compliance.... >>

ROFLMAO; I hear you - I am glad I cut some positions as the downturn showed momenteum - GIFI at $12 etc.. Lingerfelt made a lot of sense - in reviewing the pro/con reasons on paper when contemplating a buy/sell decision. For me - it is equally as important to determine what the Street is thinking and what they are doing; as it is for me to determine my valuations, targets etc.

It made no sense with $16-17 Oil, for the OSX to selloff to the same levels of when we had $8-10 Oil and a boatload of unanswered questions - the biggie being if OPEC would cut ! - this had to end - no way we could go to 55, 50 etc. - BUT ! - even though I firmly, 110% believed that; I would not hold my stocks through that freefall - as it is not as important what ''I'' think as what the Street ''does'' ! I sold - took profits - even though I felt these stocks were values and oversold.

We had seen the Street selloff prior to every earnings period - this was no different; I smelled a ''Rat'' when I saw the Street.Com article of the earnings gloom & doom - this is also why picking companies when you do dare venture into chasing these stocks down is so important. RIG & PGO stood out for me and I was determined to get back into FGI and not miss the short covering move... yes; the Street tried to play us like a cheap violin once again - but, I think we are starting to figure out this game pretty well of late...

Lets see if this sticks - I think the major traders/funds/institutions have allready made their calls - any pre-warnings, or CLB-esque situations are now known... that is why they are here buying today.... isn't it amazing how the Street buys and sells in unison - out of the blue (VBG) !!! - and right at the peak crescendo of bad news - then their buying is met by a onslaught of good news and analyst upgrades !!?!?!?!?! - unbelieveable.....if we had their information sources - we'd kick their ASSES ! (VBG)... how do these damn funds with their information ''not'' beat the index handilly ???

CLB not looking to shabby from $12 today is it ? --- hooooo hahhhh !

To All Oil Bears: Contemplate this on the tree of WOE! You are about to be crucified on a cross called ASIA!

Behold, your doom draweth nigh. Thus saith the Prophet, Bull.
