Dale, answered it why clutter the the thread, a one eyed person's brain uses dimensionality to accommodate, nothing to do about focusing. To the extent that the eye's focus changes it is to sharpen the image on the retina, not obtain with a single eye depth perception. All those people that brought you those phony UFO and make "fantastic movies" knew and know that very well and that is how they use miniature objects which when correctly placed in a scene gives you the viewer (of a two dimensional image on a screen) the perception that indeed you are looking at live size features. It is elementary, Watson.
