From MBTrader We are happy to announce that a significant portion of our equipment upgrades have now been completed. In the last 45 days we've added one additional T3 line to Uunet/Alternet, a second T3 to our Level3 ISP backbone, a third T3 to our Epoch ISP and a fourth T3 to Sprint. We've also added several dozen more quote and order servers and have made numerous upgrades to existing quote and order servers. This has resulted in a marked improvement to NASDAQ connectivity both with orders and quotes. We have come a long way and we will continue to add infrastructure to grow our entire service base to serve you better. Dow Jones News Service will be available for purchase at $95 per month beginning May 1st. This will be available for MBTrader only, not MBCustom or MBLite. We have added registered representatives to take phone orders and five more client support representatives to help you with your software, computer, and accounting questions. We have designed new internal programs which allow us to expedite many functions. What used to take many days to process now takes hours. We have upgraded our online mIRC support chat room at #mbtrading on the "othernet" server network to "clients only" status, and we've added custom coding that helps us quickly identify you so that we can better answer your questions and troubleshoot problems you may be experiencing. Finally, we have produced two online links with respect to connectivity issues and proper selection of an ISP to ensure the best possible connection with our servers. Please read these. We cannot stress strongly enough that you should be investing in the proper tools (computer and internet connection) if you plan on making online trading a serious endeavor.
