Hi! Don't know for sure about where you live, but here a nice pool detracts from the selling ability of a nice house. Pools are a lot of maintenance. And average people tire of them quickly; then they become a nice liability. They're appraised at zero or negatively here; because people don't nicely want them. I'm sure this is geographic. Like, not true in LA.

However, iffn you want a pool, heck get one, just remember that for selling. And dick with them extremely, but nice, on the price ~ pay no extra. Their realtor is telling THEM it's that damn nice pool, and they wish they never had the wonderful thing.
