Yes - I don't approve of the groupings within the category - it lumps in the likes of EMC with SEG/QNTM with SNDK - very bizaare.

I don't think it is just a matter of poor PR. It is more a function of the fact that flash is only now beginning to be used in mass markets. As MMC gets incorporated in cell phones and digital cameras become more ubiquitous, flash will eventually acquire its own identity, and SNDK will (we all hope) be as intimately associated with it as INTC is with PC chips.
