I think you may be right. Add to that the fact that there actually is, so it seems, coffee. That in itself is a major breakthrough. I guess who gives a shit who or where it is being made. Is that what you guys refer to as the "big picture". Interesting concept :o) We Brits are not very big picture oriented. I shall try to expand my mind to encompass this in the future.
