Hmm. What do y'all think about this theory: In the past year Sun's revenues and profits have been solid despite economic weakness in foreign markets. Now, with some foreign economies -- especially Japan's -- showing signs of recovery, Sun's results may shine.

Can anyone add more to this basically idle musing?

P.S. I'm thinking about 1999 results generally here, not specifically the ones about to come out.
