Good Report Mohan: I just scanned First Call and saw VERY positive updates from Montgomery, Cowen and Merrill Lynch....Now lets hope those BIG Fund Managers pay attention and put some new money to work <VBG>....

Here are some Interesting Comments From Merrill Lynch this morning:

"We expect DELL will reiterate their belief today that it can eventually commoditize storage and challenge EMC. While we believe that this is a longer term threat, we think DELL is 2 to 3 years away from competing directly with EMC."

Hmmmm.......we know that DELL tends to beat expectations. DELL will continue to be my major storage play going forward. I'm counting on MSD ramping up ahead of schedule. If he does, the rewards will be BIG. That enterprise storage market is very lucrative and IMHO CPQ, SUNW and EMC need a good strong competitor. Nothing like the DELL BTO model in a MAJOR new growth market.

Best Regards,

Scott

Hi Mohan & All: Here's another article on todays conference...

msnbc.com

I thought that Dell said during last quarter's conference call that they were going to address the sub $1000 pc issues at this meeting. From reading the article that I linked in this posting, I don't see any real substance in the meeting. What did I miss? Nothing said about revenue growth...are they going to get back to 50% or do we adjust to 38%?
