Thanks Gorak. I noticed that if I don't cancel and it's a day order that doesn't get filled, there's no commission. I hadn't realized this, and hence my question. (If you or others have had different experiences, I'd be interested.)

Actually, it's possible to cancel a partially filled order and not be charged commission. If you look at your Activity page, you'll see if the part that was filled was charged a commission - if it wasn't and you cancel the remaining order then you won't be charged. At least that's how it looks like to me.

Gorak, my experience is that if I cancel any partially filled order balance, there is no commission charged.
