I'm not sure what JP is shouting about. I just checked a real time quote on SW and there is not halt. WSP is 3.95 +8. Cannacord is all over the place with buys and sells so I assume it is their clients buying and selling not house buying because they know or think they know something. Perhaps JP is talking hypothetically. That when there is a halt trade then the news could be like on Tli Kwi Cho and we could see a crash. Any of us who've been around long enough to have been through that debacle are pretty innured to disaster. I gotlucky on that one and sold off most of my position the day before the halt and crash. Meant I was able to buy back in once the crash was over and pick up lots of stock cheap. I'd like to believe that it was great intelligence but it was just luck. Looked like a top so I thought I'd take some profits. Then wondered if I'd got out too early because the stock price kept going up. There are too many unknowns in exploration plays for anyone to think they're playing a game of chess and being really brilliant. JP is right, of course, in his implication that more often than not in exploration plays anticipation turns to bust. That's what happened with KRR, etc. The trouble was they took a small sample and then rushed ahead instead of taking the process ahead a step at a time. Sort of like the Titanic steaming ahead without being concerned about icebergs. Hopefully, after a crash like that caused by rushing the process, some, if not all, of the juniors learned to accept the slowness of doing the job right. The speculator, of ourse, isn't interested in whether there is anything there or not. All they care about is getting as much hype as possible, grabbing there profits and running. some grater fool gets to keept he worthless paper. IF TR really was a pumper and dumper he wouldn't be spending 12 mil on trying to establish volume and grade. He'd be going for a pipe and pumping up expectations of finding one. I've seen lots of P&D's. If RT was trying to do one, I'd say he was hopeless at it. Since I think he's quite a competent person, I'd have to conclude that he's not trying to P&D. If WSP's price tanks on results, it won't be because anybody has been scammed. Or because WSP management has been careless about rushing ahead without following the proper steps. All exploration plays are high risk. If you're not prepared to accept that, buy BCE or NTL.
