You don't know who is holding, buying, selling, shorting, etc. unless they tell you or you have a copies of their trade executions - so don't think that you know everything because you don't People are allowed to chat about reasons why they trade stocks... Thats why we are here...Even if it is a rumor - you are still allowed to trade based on it, or anything, except inside information - I believe that is illegal Anyone can check the validity of anything posted on these boards through company disclosure statements: 10Qs, 10Ks, press releases, etc. We all have access to these documents if we want them by downloading them off the internet or calling investor relations - SEC rules I get a lot of good trading ideas from the contributors on these boards...I'm sorry that you don't get as much out of it as I do LOL
