I edited my message after you responded.

My point is that even with a price war, the high-end would yield great(er?) profits for Intel compared to the PC market.

I think that the two companies WILL try to reach an optimal equilibrium. Should be interesting.

There likely would be a price war etc etc and both companies would suffer. Better situation would be if INTC works WITH SUNW which I am hopeful is what this is about.

Oh, yeah. The DOJ and FTC would love this.
