Well I guess that's open to debate. The list of companies doing mergers/acquisitions seems endless. Of course it strictly depends on who's acquiring what at what price. I think this move on Dell's part is just reflective of the company's recognition of the ever-changing competitive landscape, thus the effort to broaden the revenue stream.

Appreciate you quoting that piece I posted. "Services" is definitly the way to go, and DELL usually ends up leading any enterprise it indertakes.
