myicon, BTW has anyone read Norm Fosback's Book/rules on stock investing and monthly money flow patterns? He would agree that mid-month is a good time to invest....

Myicon!

Did Michael Murphy mention anything in his newsletter about Oracle's web-centered software? I'm a new Oracle investor (yesterday), and must admit, I jumped in solely because I figured it couldn't go much lower...I didn't do my DD on Oracle's new software products. Now, after listening to Amy Selner, manager of the
Berger Fund Mid-Cap and Small-Cap Growth funds, in an interview this evening, I'm having second thoughts about Oracle's product line. Ms. Selner was asked about the software industry. She responded that the old tried and true companies (no names mentioned) are being eclipsed by newer companies with web-centered software solutions. Again, I admit, I'm not a software expert. So, I'm referring to you, or anyone else with more tech savvy, to help me better understand this comment.

Thanks!
