Glad to see they finally answered. Hope you now write the treasury, and ask them if they {quoteing this reply}:"More broadly, the Treasury has taken no action to manipulate the price of gold." then how come the FRB reports various monthly dollar values based on the gold stock. They are in the gold market, or the FRB?
federalreserve.gov
Gold stock 11,051 + 3 + 2 11,051

Keep on going!!! Win, loose, or draw, I wait patiently to find out what they say.

You might also ask:
"Of the derivatives that the Government writes, how much is gold related? And which department writes them?"

PS: Thanks for posting the reply. I give you full credit for asking, and even more for getting an answer. Two thumbs up for Richard!

Richard,

Thank you. I forwarded this to ALL my associates. Love your effort. We are pounding away. So much work to do and so little time, but we will find a way to win this one.
