3DR always gets a lot of nice compliments for it's level of detail and touches, humorous and otherwise... like the mice in DN3D#1. Time for them is time well spent, imho.

Scott! You joined up! I am impressed. Welcome back.

Do you have any opinion on GT's redeployment? In your opinion, are they taking the right actions? How is 3D Realms doing? What do you have lined up in the future? Is the Duke movie still on? Lots of questions, I know.

Buddy

Why it's THE Scott Miller! Welcome back Scott...if it's really you! <chuckle> So, Scott I'll be sure to drop Dukette a line and let her know your lurking around these parts again!

But seriously Scott, I really must remind you that you had so much high praise for GT just a year ago. Since then the company and the stock has headed straight for the toilet...not that it wasn't all ready poised on the rim of the bowl to begin with. Now please don't think that I am laying any of that on you as GT has proven they can screw a shareholder quite well without any help from a developer. But you really must tell me if you think that this baby is nothing more than a dead cat bounce investment at this point and maybe why you had such high praise for them last year. After all a whole year has passed and whatever motivated you to think so highly of them is surely public record by now.

Problem with GT moving out to L.A. is it may look glamorous and make for excellent pulp but it doesn't really do a thing for the bottom line.

So Scott, tell us how is Duke Nukem Forever coming along? Is Duke Nukem the ONLY title that 3dRealms and GT have in the hopper together? Oh and one last question...is Duke Nukem Forever going to be more of the same old find the button, push a lever, open the door, bang, bang, bang as it has always been? Did anyone at 3DRealms play Half-Life and scream out "DAMN, WHY DIDN'T WE THINK OF THAT!"? Not to criticize ol' Duke because I enjoyed him as much as the next guy but the marketplace is beginning to dictate that the traditional FPS is getting long in the tooth.
