Allow me to second. I don't think you're hapless or jerky. But I'm not sure what hapless means. I only see it used in sentences, and I know you hope you're not.

What's a hap?

[SI "Spellchecker" (Bwaaaahaaahaaaaahaaaaa, eh Alex?) says hap is not a word, so in My Dictionary of Reality, you can't have hapless then.]
