Judy: regarding "...Technically VERT is ripe to move...."

I would surely agree. I am concerned, however, about VERT's ability to move in a less-than-positive i-nut environment. Any thoughts? Best, M2

Judy-
You say you think we are getting on the ground floor on VERT...I believe you.Do you think the stock can go up like EBAY's has?Yr low on Ebay is 8-ish and it hit 171 today. Are you expecting that kind of return?

BTW.On my chart if VERT can break 117 it will go to 162 pretty quick....(inverse H&S).....

Thanks Judy. I agree that VerticalNet seems to have an excellent business model and a nicely focused target audience. I've also noticed from their site that they use the expected demographic on their business communities to add value to their advertising. Excellent leverage. I had looked at them earlier, but never pulled the trigger. I just picked up some today.

You might also want to look at USIX. I mentioned it earlier, but didn't provide any more info than the symbol. You might want to look at their site: usinternetworking.com . Their focus is internet managed applications, basically outsourcing IT departments. I strongly believe that this is one of the new categories of business that the Internet enables, and they seem to have a good set of offerings available now. The IPO was today, and I've purchased a number of shares. Of course they may settle down, but I believe that their business will be come more understood over the next few months.
