Isn't "culture" a significant reason why many of these internet stocks have been, and continue to soar? Not being a culturist, or sociologist (whatever you call them), your comment makes much sense. As Dell expands it's "culture", Dell expands it's business. "Culture" speaks of brand loyalty, and particularly at Dell, a horizontal hierarchy. When you deal with Dell and their entities, it's been "old fashioned" sales. Employees appear to actually enjoy selling to you. Do you think so? Has their service been poor in the past? I've not noticed it.
