I'm using HongKong Bank in Montreal

Very small outfit with online and phone...Couple of my friend were on Royal before, they moved to HK and they are very happy.

I don't know how it is in your area but here it's ok.

Take a look at their website.

If you plan to trade BBs, do NOT choose Datek. They don't trade OTC:BBs and don't plan to in the future.

I use NDB. I plan to add a more full service broker soon because I can't get shares for shorting most of the time. And when I do get them it frequently takes too much time on the phone.

NDB fees: 14.75 market 19.75 limit orders up to 5000 shrs of listed stocks or unlimited, yes that's right, unlimited number of shrs of NASDAQ or OTC:BB stocks. I have bought in 10K increments in the past.

I didn't used to be able to login and trade during the first few or last few minutes of the trading day because of overload on their web station. That has cleared up. I was able to sell / buy during the last few minutes and first few minutes recently. :)

Stay in the Black! jimS

I use MyDiscountBroker and am very happy with them. Fast executions, quick, friendly phone service and you can trade OTCBB stocks online. Cost is $12 per trade even for limit orders. Am also with Ameritrade, but OTCBB have to be called in at $23 per trade for limit and $18 for market orders and you can sometimes wait on hold forever, especially when their system is down which seems to be frequently lately. Here is a link to a 'Spring 99 Daytrader Brokerage Survey', which lists most houses with a cost/service comparison of each. Hope it helps! Also, here's a link to MyDiscountBroker in case you want to check it out.
