BII still does business with AOL. AOL is quote a perceived force in the market place and their continued relationship with BII would probably be mutually beneficial. But AOL has 10-15 million subscribers. Compare that to a world wide population approaching 6 billion, brings their great importance into perspective. There are many companies both computer and non-computer related that will do great without AOL's supreme help.

Doug,

Glad you could have a laugh, but maybe BII outgrew AOL and is looking for, or making a deal with, a player more suited for their plans.

I'm sure a mutually beneficial relationship with AOL will satisfy them both, but – no hype here – perhaps there is a bigger and/or better fish tank for them to jump into.

Denise.
