NT is still the most robust application platform, for now.

Yup. It doesn't pose much threat as a general-purpose desktop platform just yet (if it ever will).

OT:
In looking at those pages, I ran across this nifty list of Very Large Databases.

Among the 6 relevant categories with 10 (often duplicated) databases in each category, MS SQL Server actually shows up one time. It comes it at #9 in the "Most Rows/Records" (Category 2) for Decision support systems with 9,600 records.
