How about this...If EMC can continue to take market share from IBM, who practically invented storage, I personally am not about to worry about what LU can do. IBM (obviously) is expert in all the pieces it takes to put together enterprise storage, from storage media itself, to controllers, to software, to RAS. Yet EMC continues to pull away. Can LU put it all together? Sure, probably like General Motors could get into submarines. Throw enough money at anything, and you can make it happen.

Way I look at it is, storage must be as red hot as we keep hearing to attract all these wannabees.

Wasn't lu already in storage with a subsidiary and now they are putting more into it at the sub level. I believe that's how I read the article. Wish I could find it again.. John
