Challo, re: Japan: whether a new bull market has commenced in Japan or not may be debatable, but it seems likely. nascent bull markets in stocks usually start at the low point of recessions and are an excellent leading indicator of recovery of the 'real' economy. but there have been false dawns in japan before, and i for one believe that a final shakeout would augur better for the long term health of japan's economy and financial markets, as a tentative recovery now will probably once more lead to the postponement of urgently needed structural reforms.

regards,

hb

Tell me about it! Well, I held AMZn, the core AOL, and EMC. I'm up 62 percent this year but I know Peggy and Judy are up 600 percent!
