JBOH..COGN, AMTD

AMTD. my plan was to add options of AMTD this morning as I updated the earnings calendar (I hope you all noted that) but I just couldn't get all done before 10:00 and I didn't want my family to thinkI was 'obsessed' ;-) so I didn't make the call to the broker which is what I had planned to do. I remember you once posting you made a call from the Mall while you had visitors over your house so you know the feeling. Sneaking out surreptitiously to make a call to the broker reminds me of an alcoholic sneaking in a drink on the sly so I felt guilty and refrained. result: AMTD + 10 3/4....

COGN..I knew that feeling when I sold it was real. funny thing that I nearly pulled the trigger on NTBK last night and I felt the same way. Although the rise in NTBK was not spectacular it was a good time to get back in.

JBOH.. I deserved it I got 'screwed' on NDB but I learned a lesson. The lesson is if you have a stock that 'beats the street' on an honest earnings report and it has a bad day because of the 'tug of war' in the trading arena for whatever reason, don't sell the stock too precipitously. The same happened with MU. I sold my April Options at a 1 point loss but doubled my May options by hanging on until yesterday morning.
