Milesov....... Waters... has got to be better than Ameritrade, unless of course you don't care to trade in the morning, or at noon, or just before the closing bell, cause the system times out, and then if you really want a quick trade you can call them on the phone and wait for 20 or 30 minutes to get your order in by phone, Same thing from 12 to 1:00 pm, and same thing 15 minutes before the market closes. I have printed 5 "order submitted" screens for the past 3 days. They all say the same thing. "Your order has already been placed or cancelled. Please check your open order to confirm the status of this order. If order does not show open, please resubmit". Not one of them showed on the open order. I'm going to send these sheets to Ameritrade cause none of the orders got placed. I'd call them but I don't have the 30 minutes to wait - and their customer service department is filled with people who can barely answer the phone. It's discouraging for sure. I finally talked to the president about 6 months ago and she assured me that they were working very hard to try and get their system stable.

Miles,

I have been happy with DATEK. Only had a couple of times when the server has been down. Lucky I did not have to GTFO on those times.
But over all I am satisfied with the service.

BLT

P.S. Have you checked your mail?

Miles, cast another vote for DATEK. They don't have level 2 but have said that they plan to offer it in the future. I also have Etrade and must say that there is no comparison in terms of execution, access and ease of use. I guess they spend their money on hardware instead of advertising.

Good luck, Jay
