Smallcaps are all doing poorly while the bigcaps get all the attention. But I believe that this will change since the bigcaps are overvalued by at least 30% (not to mention Internutz which are overvalued by much much more) and the smallcaps are undervalued. At least the smallcaps should see a rebound as money flows out of the bigcaps, but I'm not sure about pennies which tend to be speculative anyway.

<<why are we in a penny stock>>

We all know that TSIS has been a big disappointment- up till this point at least. But we are all hoping for a much more lucrative future. As for the large cap stocks, you can buy all of those you want. With PEs going at 50, 100, 1000 in some cases, I think you're taking just as big a risk buying those stocks at such incredible valuations. IMO at some point, those large caps are going to melt down in a huge way. As for pennies, it's all a matter of selection. While most turn out to be washes at best and some go to zero, there are a few that can make you 20 times or more on your money. TNRG made me 8 times my investment earlier this year. A few others I've only watched from the sidelines or sold out of unfortunately (AAFGQ, GMCH, HABE, JNNE, WOOD) have also multiplied by 8 or more just in the past two months. Only the absolutely most exceptional large cap success stories like Amazon.com can match those returns. Most hugely successful larger cap high techs like Dell take years to bring those kind of returns. If you hit a penny right, it can happen in days. And all you need to do is hit one once in a while to stay way ahead. I'll continue to play the pennies and outperform all my friends in the Intels, Microsofts, and the like most years.
