I am new to SI, and a CPQ and MSFT shareholder, more of the latter than the former. I appreciate the techie debate on this board but my question is more general. There has been some discussion on CPQ boards as to the possibility of CPQ buying or becoming the guardian angel of AMD. I think this arises from the fact that Palmer(of DEC fame or infamy}, has been nominated to the board of AMD. I have not seen any discussion of that possibility on this board. Any Comment? Ted
