Tice. Bull. Bear. It's all about making money. And Tice hasn't made it for years. Sure, he made money last Auhust and September. So did I. I had my best trade ever when the market dropped 512. My puts doubled. But far more money is made trading than taking a stance. Imagine being short AMZN for the last 90 points! Just my 2 cents!

heinz,

Don't get me wrong I respect Tice's work. Although, I will admit I respect it a lot less today than a few years ago. It is one thing to be cautious about the market. Hell, anyone that isn't should be considering where we are historically. But in Tice's case or some of the other perma-bears they have failed miserably in not only missing a big part of this bull run. But more importantly their willingness to fight this market advance by shorting these market leaders during the rise. I remember watching my local stock market channel five years ago. Peter Eliades was a frequent guest on that channel. Back then he was complaining of lofty valuations and talking about the bending depression in prices. Still, I like to follow their opinions. It helps to keep the sentiment balanced.

Regards,

SO

I don't know anyone who has taken a dime off the table, so I disagree about too much bearish sentiment. Apparently, noone listens to the talking heads that are warning. IMO, everyone but me is a bull. Or, if they are bearish they're still long. So, I think I'll collect my old lady fixed income check until the next fire sale. I am hanging onto my "hope it's going to do something soon" risk stock, for maybe 2 more weeks, even though the big guys are bleeding it every day. Some other small caps I watch are getting whipsawed violently (CHKP). This market, in my opinion, is stinking quite badly. So, I think I'll just watch and learn, as I'm in no rush.
