Trey, Robertson,Stephens was the principal underwriter of Awares initial public offering. They're the carnival barkers. They're doing a pretty good job. Aware's run-up dramatizes how hype-prone the ADSL sector is. Let's remember, Siemens DSP/chipset won't be ready til the fourth quarter of 99. Note, it has been ANNOUNCED as not ready until 4Q '99--in REALITY it could be as late as TI's which was ANNOUNCED as ready in 1Q '98 (remember?). In any event, it pressures TI which is good for WSTL. Obviously, I'm still optimistic (somewhat) that TI can be a player. A TI-GTE-AOL triad might be good for WSTL.
