Time to wake up folks. It's earnings time for ITW.
I just gazed over the earnings report for Q3. Revenue up about 42%, net income up about 28%, E/S up 11%. Not too bad but the key point is the following extract from the report. Keep in mind that the real estate revenue is very profitable. This should provide very good Q4 results and thusforth good year end results IMO. How do others interpret the report??? Cheers!!!

"Due to the timing of construction, real estate revenue and operating profit were down relative to the same quarter last year, however year-to-date, real estate sales were up 7% and operating profit was up 18% from last year. Real estate revenue totaled $53.4 million for the quarter compared with $64.3 million in the third quarter last year. Operating profit from real estate sales was $10.1 million in the third quarter compared with $11.9 million last year. Real estate revenue in the fourth quarter is expected to total more than $165 million, approximately three times more than the fourth quarter last year."
