I have played my share of pennies but also know there are a few problems that I have encountered.

One being the very low pennies, under .05 or so, are manipulated so much by daytrading activity it is very difficult to time these issues even in the long run. I am not saying that I am against day traders for I have done a lot of it myself on my days off. I suppose I am not just patient enough to wait that long for an issue to move, which at least partially attributes to my overall track record up to date in the marketplace.

Second problem being with my broker. Although it is nice to own 10 or 20k shares of an issue, my broker charges 5% on pennies if over the minimum. This can get very expensive on limited capitol.

The BB's are very hard to play and work a day job. The timing is very difficult but I am also lured into BB's due to their rapid price appreciation.

Thanks,
Fred
