Relax Scumbria, if I thought you were lying I wouldn't have said "falsehoods". I don't question your integrity, just your sanity.

An AMD employee's take on Sharkyextreme's K7 words

" I just wanted to give you all a heads up on this before everyone get's too excited. The guy that does the CPU review is going off information 2nd hand from someone else who has an older system if they're claiming the same performance as a PIII. You have to keep in mind that leaked info on early products may show scores that DO NOT reflect the same performance as released products. This goes for most pre-released hardware in it's alpha/beta stages. The current hardware hsa surpassed the state he is claiming it's in and should be taken lightly. When they have production hardware then they can start making legitimate claims to how the hardware performs.

Sounds like Tom's early review of the PII.
