Glenn,

I swear I read that article, almost word for word, about a month ago.

Last year, when Buffett was asked about the net stocks, he said something to the effect that if he was a teacher and asked his students what an internet stock was worth, he would flunk anyone who gave an answer. That stuck in my mind and was a turning point for me last May. He didn't intend to send a message that they were overvalued, but they couldn't be accurately valued using known techniques. Yes, I am sure he thinks they are way too high, but there is no solid way to accurately measure them still.
