A completely computerized system with no market makers is what the US stock market desperately needs. Getting rid of the market makers will be a true step forward in history. I can't understand why it's taking so long for the US to get there. I would choose to deal with a computer instead of a market maker any day. Computers are fair and predictable. We can't say that for the American market makers. As for the professional daytraders, who cares what they think. The regular guy is the one who really fuels the stock market with his hard earned dollars. Give him what he wants. The current state of the US stock market system is an embarrassment. Lola:)
