Would the permit then also dictate where you drill? or are you allowed to drill where you think there is ore? Seems to me that they stake the land, apply for the necessary permits, adher to the rules concerning these and drill where they think they may find ore. Matt's post is telling us that they have stepped further out and appear to be following a line. Who cares about the bloody lumber as long as they cut it properly, dispose of it correctly and adher to the rules. However, your post has given me more confidence now that I am aware of the trouble faced. Why would anyone expose themselves to hardships if they thought the return would not exceed the investment.
