Zack, thanks for that excellent share!

Regarding your call for a count, I think we've been there and done that and I didn't care for the results last time. IMO, we can't deliberately control the direction of the stock, and it produces a false hope to suggest that, if we act as group, we can.

The best shot we had at doing that was taken last year. That "Rocketeer" mania was initially fun, but I feel it failed abysmally, and contributed to a lot of lost dollars and found anguish. (Not caused, just unwittingly, I feel, contributed.)

I think the stock price is gonna go where it's gonna go, and no amount of counting and subsequent attempts at coordination of will are gonna make it go elsewhere.

It doesn't hurt to get a sense of how many shares are held by longs willing to share that information. But I doubt such a count can be accurate. As was mentioned in the past, SI is not likely the domain of the entire, or even the majority, DGIV investor community.

I do appreciate your intent, and am just offering my own opinion. I certainly don't mind getting some sense of how many shares are being held by those who count themselves as DGIV faithful. But I suspect the suggestion something can actually be done with that info, to affect where the ticker takes us, is suspect.
