Other aspects that I liked about the company For the past 5 years ANC has been spending a large percentage of its money and time on building and perfecting its main product KnowledgeSEEKER and working on new products that have not yet been released. Up until June of 1998 KnowledgeSEEKER has been it's only product (I don't count SmartWare). During this time they spent "over 12 person years of development time" making its newest product KnowledgeSTUDIO which was released May 27, 1998 and a lot more time developing other products and changing KnowledgeSEEKER to better meet customers demands. They have now spent a fortune on research and development of these product. It is about time they stopped researching and started selling their product. The last couple of release I have seen from the company makes me think that they are now going to move into sales heavily. From their annual report "Since July 1998 we have been moving steadily beyond our focus on engineering excellence to broadening and strengthening our commercial position in the market". In the annual report (March 99) They said that the sales team has been completely restructured and will now concentrate on selling to both large companies and small business users. It looks like they are really taking steps to increase sales. During 1998 the company attended only 1 trade show. In the annual report the company states that it will participate in 4-8 trade shows during the 1999 fiscal year. They have already attended 2 trade shows this year. In addition, in December 1998 they established the KnowledgeNet Report for customers and other interested parties to receive updates from ANC. Best Regards KEITH
